Stopping the installation of instrument.
Hi...
It is nearly seven hours installing an Orchestra via Native Acces 2 and when trying to install a Stradivarius I am told it is queued.
I see no means to halt the installation of the orchestra so as to proceed installing immediately the Stradivarius, which is in my Komplete 13 CE disk.
Any help, please ?
Thank you.

Iβm also having issues getting some of the larger libraries to install. It seems to be happening a lot on NA2. Sometimes I get an error saying the library didnβt download correctly, if it does download it starts to install and then stops and wonβt complete, just gets stuck saying itβs installing even after several hours. In windows 10 I open the task manager and force that task to stop. There is obviously something not right with NA2 currently and Iβm not able to install 3 of the products Iβve paid for. It would be nice if someone from NI could confirm thereβs a problem with NA2 and give us some idea when itβs getting fixed.

I am all new to Native Instruments, be it Native Access 1 or 2, Kontakt and everything else from A to Z.
But also a very old fox when dealing with Windows, Android and the likes.
Tired of seeing that Orchestra being stuck for hours I went downloading an ISO file from the vendor page, mounted it (as if inserting a DVD), executed as administrator the included exe file and under 15 seconds it went ready to be used.
Opened Kontakt 7 and here it is...horns, choirs, pipe organs...everything ready to go.
It works flawlessly.
Have a try... The Free Orchestra from ProjectSam.
Anyway, Native Access 2 still yet reporting INSTALLING.
Am I to uninstall it ?

@Mark Oxley What is the exact error message? If you apply these steps, does it fix the issue? Native Access Error Message: Download Failed: "Unknown error"

I had 2 different errors. First time I tried installing the library I got a failed to download with the unknown error. Then I tried again after following the advice youβve linked too and I got it to download without the error. This time the library started to install but would not complete. I left it to install for several hours but it was obvious it was not going to happen, Native Access just gets stuck in a loop saying itβs still installing. I had the same error with 2 other large libraries but eventually they did install after deleting the download and retrying. I must have tried at least a dozen times (and a good many hours) to install Kontakt factory library 2 and this morning I tried again to install the library in question and finally it installed correctly. One can only conclude that given mine and many other customers issues with Native Access 2 that it was not fit to be released.
Due to the recent upgrade from komplete 12 to komplete 14 I thought it would be a good time to install the larger content libraries to a newly purchased 1tb ssd external storage drive. I decided the best way forward would be to delete all the komplete software and have a fresh install due to the changes. What a performance that turned out to be. Why on earth does NI not provide an uninstaller in either the old or new version of NA? It took hours to fully remove all the products 1 by 1 and remove any traces before installing komplete 14.
The whole process of upgrading my NI products was a mess and took many hours of my time and left me without the use of some products for a week. Had I known how stressful it would be beforehand I doubt Iβd have purchased the cross grade.
Some form of apology and compensation for my inconvenience would be appreciated.

The question was never answered...What to do when a library installation gets to the end and just keeps saying "INSTALLING" with that silly bar going back and forth.
I close out Native Access, reopen it and the library (Kontakt Factory Library) still says INSTALLING.
Certainly someone from NI is capable of giving a solution. Is there not?

@DugleyDoright There were several issues here so there was no definitive answer. I will probably close this thread.
Try restarting your computer, then open Native Access again, the product should be showing as Not Installed.
If that does not fix it, check in your download folder if you still have the iso / installer file. If you do, quit Native Access, restart your computer and run the installer manually then restart Native Access.

I just had the same problem, I went to task manager then in the search bar I typed "native", then I ended the task of installing the corresponding library and it worked

@anteas and @DugleyDoright It happened sometimes to me that the installation seemed still running in NA, but after thinking it was stuck and closing NA, I discovered the program was installed and therefore the only thing stuck was NA interface. Iβm not suggesting this is same case for these users and tell them to just close NA and everything will be alright, but this is something that is happening too
