Does Mint guitar play the chords you play or does it have preset chord patterns ?

Hi

Does Mint guitar play the chords you play or does it have preset chord patterns ? I can't find a demo/trial option and the playthrough I found online sounds like it has preset chord patterns. Can I just hold down a chord and have it play that and then change to my next chord when I play the next chord, or does it follow a chord progression automatically ?

    There are two versions included, one just plays exactly what you give it, the other can riff based on the chord or trigger you give it. In other words you should be fine. PS, it sounds fantastic, it was my BF treat

    Yes, the "Melody" instrument is the one where you can play your own notes.
