Disable reverb in Kontakt 7

There seems to be an inherent reverb I cannot disable, even when I kill all FX including Convolution. In every library.

In kontakt 6 the reverb parameter is clearly visible but kontakt 7?? How do I make a dry sound so I can use my own reverb?

Ok i will check that - ok the new libraries orchestral stuff is definitely recorded in a big absolutely non dry room and you have it always in the samples. But you can simply install the old factory library and use the old sounds if you don´t like the new ones, you don´t need kontakt 6 to open them.

    Hello,

can you give an example of a library where this happens?

I am running into this too. It is so many of the acoustic instruments. A clear example is the Woodblock in the Kontakt library. It just has a heavy reverb on it at all times, regardless of whether convolution is on or not (or any effects).

The reverb seems to be on every library, every instrument. It' s kontakt 7 itself. I cannot remove the reverb! It's with the factory library orchestral instruments I'm trying to disable or at least reduce it. All of them have a big reverb. And Kontakt 6 won't let me load them now that I have bought kontakt 7. I really wish I hadn't bought 7. Unless there is a way to drop the reverb that I'm not finding . . ? On Kontakt 6 it is right there. You simply reduce the parameter.

    Hi.

This constant reverb makes Kontakt 7 orchestral sounds impossible to use for me. Such a pity because all the sounds seems to sound nice.

People working at Native Instrument, please make it stop, this is really sad.

I'm downloading the old factory library because of that, hoping it will work in Kontakt7. By the way, I find it really annoying that the Kontakt factory library 1 isn't in Native Acces.

People should have the right to shut down reverb if they want to. 😎

Oh, hmm I can't make Factory Librairy 1 (found on a drive in this forum) neither work on Kontakt 6 or Kontak 7. Where should I place the folder ? Thanks.

Did you find a solution for the endless reverb? Since Kontakt 7 I have the same problem. I can only play the libraries with the old 6.71 verson of Kontakt. My suspicion is that it is due to the pedal settings - “the keyboard keys get simply no more released" as I can see on the virual keyboard in kontakt. I contacted support about this but did not receive a propper solution to the problem (but to be fair the support has tried its best). For the future it's not possible for me to use newer libraries and this is really annoying. By the way a €50.00 voucher is anything but helpful.

No, I still haven't found any solution for this annoying reverb and can't make the old library work…

It's totally DUMB that we cant turn it off.

Acoustic Module for example, i want a Dry Kalimba..

Even after turning off the Reverb in the FX (Convolution), there is still a noticeable long reverb that sounds very much like post processing and NOT a room sound, it's Kontakt Factory Library 2…

It is NOT a pedal / sustain..

You can't in some of the instruments, they are recorded that way as far as I know.
