File managment in Maschine + - More layers in user content folder

Hi guys!

Does anybody know if and when there will be additional sub folders available on M+ so that we can copy our personal soundlibraries one to one from our computer onto the M+ SD card? This missing feature really annoys me and keeps me away from potentially buying a M+

I would guess: NEVER!

If this is so important for you then look for a DAW and get a DAW supported MIDI drum pad / MIDI controller.

NI reps have already stated that thiswill never happen, it was complained about from day 1, it is a poor system.

Maybe not the same that you're looking for, but you can setup more folders.

Thx for your anders! This is really bad news. Then I' m going to keep my Maschine MK3. I don' t understand why it is so hard to implement this feature. MPCs could do this for years, the SP404 can do it and the Elektron devices, too, as far as I know.

I think it is not hard to implement. Obviously it is just their design decision:

They have their Tagging and their tagged Expansions. Tagging of non NI samples is possible but time consuming. IIRC a user is just developing a sort ouf auto tagging SW for non NI samples.
