M32 and Cubase : Tell me there is a way to stuck the keyboard to midi mode

Hello, as I separate the production and the mixing phase, I just need the 8 knobs to stuck to midi mode and not switch to mackie everytime I mouseclick on a another track. Is there a workaround on cubase to do that?
Even if I wanted to mix as I produce, I have a huge template, and the M32 due to mackie limitation lost the bank tracking as soon as I am working on something else that the first 1-8 tracks.
Pressing Shift and MIDI everytime to make the keyboard turn into MIDI mode everytime I click on a track is cumbersome, I just want to reach for the knobs

I don't have a KK keyboard, but, that really sucks IMO. There are times where you want to switch to MIDI mapping, and, as you say, it's very cumbersome when you have to manually re-enter MIDI mode every time you switch tracks.
