How to use Logic Pro X instruments with Maschine MK3
Hi guys,
I bought the MK3 because I wanted to use it as a midi controller for Logic Pro X.
When plugging in my Yamaha e-piano, I can easily chose every instrument from drums to organs, guitars and so on.
I expected the same plug and play compatibility, at least for the 16 pads. But somehow i can only find tutorials about using Maschine sounds in logic and I’ve searched a lot last week.
Is it even possible?
cheers MCLX

Hey @MCLX, the following articles should help you get started with your MK3 within Logic:
- Recording MIDI Notes in Logic Pro X from MASCHINE
- Triggering MASCHINE Sounds from MIDI Tracks in Logic Pro

There is an easy reversed process to use logic factory instruments and sounds in Maschine:
1. Create a project in Logic
2. Create a track with a logic instrument
3. Sample that instrument track with the Logic Auto Sampler Utility Plugin
4. Create a Logic Instrument track from the Maschine Plugin
5. In the Maschine Plugin create a Sound with the AUSampler Plugin
6. From the AUSampler Plugin in the Maschine Plugin, load the Sampler that you created in step 3.
7 (optional). Use the Maschine Auto Sampler to Sample the AUSampler from step 6 to make it independent from Logic.
