In some similar bugs but on different libraries, one workaround was to open the library in Komplete Kontrol instead of Kontakt. Is it the same for you?

It's a scripting issue, it would be the same in KK.

No, the same issue is present in Komplete Kontrol.

Has the issue of New Factory Library 2 Orchestral Bank Hanging Notes been addressed or resolved since I first asked?

My bank is still hanging notes horribly

I haven't looked into the code there, so can't really share more, sorry.

I'm happy to report that with updating the Factory Library to it's latest version and going to Kontakt 8 the hanging MIDI notes problem is gone!
