But can you CHANGE THE MIDI CHANNEL FROM THE KEYBOARD ?

I don't want to connect it to the control software to change the channel anymore.

From the videos it looks like maybe you can - not certain yet as I don't have one but it does look like you can do a lot more from the keyboard in terms of midi setup

I can't deal with the heavier piano action though but wish there was a larger one than the 61 key with synth action

I did have the S61 MK2, but I just personally prefer hammer action.

I say that now, when in two months I'll have a killer stab sequence to write, and my fingers will hate me.

So underwhelming. Didn't fix stuff we've have been asking for (like user scales) and removed all the Maschine integration!

Just because someone with a pre release model says it doesn't work with his Maschine doesn't mean support has been 'removed', it could just mean since it's pre release Maschine hasn't been updated to support it yet, they probably wanted to get the keyboard and KK integration sorted first. In my view this is an awesome update, not many (if any?) keyboards in this price range with Poly AT and MIDI 2 support, not to mention all the other aspects like Kontakt integration and new NKS capabilities.

Sadly NI can't be trusted anymore on that topic.

Plus on hardware side, the dedicated buttons for Maschine disappeared so it seems to be a real design choice.

I'm just saying we don't know what is planned yet. Maybe there are new Maschine models coming too? Fact is Maschine never really had great integration with the keyboards anyway, maybe NI are rethinking how integration within the whole 'ecosystem' works.
