Kontakt 7 steals Logic's Transport

Maybe this is another new feature or a bug but, K7 seems to "steal" Logic's transport if it's the selected window. So, I can't play or stop Logic if this is in the foreground and is selected. If K7 is not selected then all is fine. I checked running K7 in Komplete Kontrol and the transport functionality is fine there. I'm mostly running K7 in Komplete Kontrol anyway these days so not terrible, just odd.😎

Little update, bug is filed under KT-7585 and should be fixed in a future update.

K7 is vst3 right? If you use other vst3 plugin is it the same or different?

I'm no mac user.

Logic is Mac/AU only. Most VIs don't do this (but there are exceptions). In the past Kontakt did not do this.

@dbw1 We were able to reproduce the issue, thanks for reporting it. It is odd indeed, it seems that when choosing the old browser, transport is stolen, if you choose the new browser, transport is free again. We reported the issue to the devs and are waiting for their feedback on this.

Any update? This is a major workflow killer...

A temporary fix is to hold the "fn" button when pressing spacebar. Tested on mac + cubase.

@peterharket This should get fixed in the coming update 7.1 coming in a few weeks.

there is a irritating bug in logic

from time to time typing in kontakt is not working and pressed key triggers logic shortcuts

please fix this
