Hi, thanks for coming back at me.
The easiest way to show, is posting a small video:

Of course Logic runs via Rosetta. The transport controls produce midi notes events, the selector wheel as well. The only way to get it to work again is deleting the S88mk2 control surface and detecting it again. Then it works again for a couple of days/weeks, until it happens again out of the blue.
No I haven't contacted support yet, I am not that active producing at the moment. I will wait until Komplete Kontrol gets 100% ARM native which should happen soon ... If the bug persists after that, I will contact support. I also have an Intel Mac Mini where the problem does not show up. I guess it's M1/Rosetta related, as it shows only on my Mac Studio with the M1 Max.
Cheers,
CJ

@cjacoby78 We've seen this happen in the past. Do you have any special settings in Logic, especially in the transport or MIDI department? It is usually fixed by deleting this file: Mac HD/Users/User Name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs

Thanks for the tip, I will check that out, and sorry for posting again in the other thread.
Yes I do have a Presonus Faderport V2 hooked up to may Mac which also has transport controls. Maybe they interfer - but my Presonus has always behaved admirably so far and has never shown any glitches. I tend to prefer its transport controls compared to the S88's, but still the latter are supposed to work.
Cheers,
CJ

Ok I understand. What you could do asw ell, for troubleshooting only, is not to connect the Faderport, see if the issue remains.

I'm experiencing the same on a Macbook Pro 14 (also M1 Max) with macOS 12.6.
The way to reproduce it is:
- Create an empty project
- Add a few tracks with KK
- Save & close the project
-- Everything works fine up until this point --
- Open the project again
At this point the controllers (S61 mk2 & m32) won't control the DAW and will instead send midi notes. Also all the instances of KK appear like this:
I'm getting the same behavior in both Logic Pro X 10.7.4 and Ableton Live 11.2. While Cubase Pro 12.0.40 works as intended.

@Oscar Morante Your issue seems to differ a little from the OP. Are Ableton and Logic running in Rosetta mode? How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta
Also make sure that Komplete Kontrol, Ableton and Logic all have Full Disk Access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Hey @Jeremy_NI, thanks for your help!
Enabling full disk access did the trick for me. Everything is working now in all DAWs except that I'm still seeing the same broken behavior as OP (midi notes instead of transport controls) after opening saved projects in Ableton that were using KK's AU.

@Oscar Morante Thanks for the update. So, to confirm, in a brand new Ableton project, everything is working but if you close the project and save it, then transport keys play notes? What about the mixer functions?
