Cant play spotify while using Traktor s3 internal sound card

So I got my hands on a new S3 to replace my s2 mk2. Installation on WIN11 went smoothly and I was up and running in Traktor pro 3 in no time.

The issue I'm having is when I want to use the internal sound card as my default device and play music on Spotify. Since switching over to the S3 I've been unable to play any music on Spotify and receive the generic "spotify can't play this right now if you have the file on your computer you can import it" error. If I plug my s2 back in, Spotify starts working again like magic.

i tried some stuff i wached on youtube and nothing work

note: i sow that with the traktor s2 i using traktor s2 mk2(asio) in the audio device setup inside traktor and with the new s3 i have only shared mode or exclusive mode

I note that there are multiple post of people concerned about lack of driver support for the S3. Has anyone else experienced this issue or come across a fix?

Is traktor on when you try it?

If yes, does it work when traktor is off?

Then you are probably using exclusive mode? You could try shared mode.

is it because you have the sound card setting ticked "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" ?

From my perspective, it sounds like the issue you're experiencing with Spotify while using the Traktor S3 internal sound card could potentially be due to the lack of suitable drivers and potential compatibility issues. I encountered a similar problem myself and ended up reverting to the previous version of the app to resolve it.

All the more Spotify ******. Been using the platform for 8 years and always something. Nothing I can do fixes it in the desktop app but the web app is absolutely flawless. Long story short, not putting up with it, going to Apple Music.
