When will Kontakt 7 be available to buy separately

Does anyone know for sure that we will be able to buy Kontakt 7 separately when it is released in October, rather than having to buy Komplete?

I already own so many of the Komplete instruments, etc., I really dont need to buy the whole Komplete itself, but really like being able to use Kontakt (from version 1 to version 5 full & 6 player. I generally buy the new version every other one)

Thanks for any advice that can be offered.

Yes. Kontakt will be sold as a individual product. Kontakt is too important to NI given there are so many 3rd party libraries built on it.

According to NI, Kontakt 7 will be available sometime in October 2022.

They might want to offer it for sale a bit sooner, before customers get to demo it. Once they demo it, you're going to hear some upset customers. NI Make the money while you can.

Will the full release of Kontakt 7 unify the plugin so I can load an older project and have everything magically loaded into the "Kontakt" plugin rather than the specific "Kontakt 7" plugin

@HarrySound Kontakt 6 and 7 are two separate plugins so Kontakt instances in your project won’t switch automatically to version 7. You'll need to manually replace them.
