X1 MK1 Controller + Pattern Player in Traktor Pro Plus

Hi Fam!

I would like to control the pattern player in Traktor Pro Plus with my X1 MK1.

However, it only responds by default to control the single and group FX.

How I can also control the pattern player with my X1 MK1?

I would be very happy if someone can help me here. Greetings from Germany!

Problem solved,

I programmed the X1 to pattern player also the LED functions.

all and all 15 min time.

Problem is that old X1 mapping uses FX Unit modifiers o n all FX Unit commands.

User should dulicate mappings for each FX Unit and then reassign to the new modifier condition (Pattern Player modifier)

Are you looking for a way to cycle between single, group and pattern player?

Or can't you even control the pattern player when it's active?

Hi! I can't operate the pattern player with the X1. I can switch between fx and pattern player with the mouse. That wouldn't be so bad. Greetings!

Hey @DJ Short-Cut does your Controller Editor recognize X1?

If so, since Pattern Player is part of the FX unit, in order to Map it you will need to select it as an Effect and map the effect knobs to your given device.

@Kaiwan_NI Hey! Thanks for your answer. If i understood you correctly, i should use the controller editor to program my X1 to the pattern player? My X1 is recognized by Traktor and i can also use it. Greetings!

Hi @Stevan! Thanks for the tip. I will try that. Do I have to do this in the controller editor or can I do it in Traktor itself in the midi mapping?

It is done inside the Controller Manager - you will need to override the factory mapping (default map which is HID protocol).

The Controller Editor is linked to MIDI mode.

It will work automatically with X1 MK2 default mapping.
