Traktor S2 MK3 - FX knob - Filter on as default? Custom mapping?

I just bought an S2 MK3 and i was wondering if it's possible to create a custom mapping to the FX knob so that it works as a filter even when the effect slots aren't selected? I used to have S4 MK2 and I would like to have the same filter function with the FX knob (without having to select FX #1 and use another effect on that instead). Hope it makes sense what I am after.

It is possible but what you are asking for will require more work than what its worth.
