Extra change when updating from 3.6 plus to 4.0?

Hello all,
one question that makes the Pro/Plus subscription worth it or not.
are 1.0 updates included with it ? if i pay for pro/plus subscription would i get the new 4.0 when released or i'll have to pay for that again 50$ for update when released ?
