I just got a new HP Pavillion laptop and installed Konttact 6 player

I just got a new HP Pavillion laptop and installed Kontact 6 player. the problem is, when i try to plug the laptop into an external speaker, the sound still comes from the laptop speaker. When I play anything else ie you tube videos, the sound comes from the external speaker, Is there a problem with Kontack 6?

    you need to set K6 to output to the external audio device in settings…(gear icon at top of K6 interface)
