KEEP sampler settings after CHOP???

Ist this a BUG or a "Feature"???

If i drag/drop a sample from FINDER to a SLOT... so far ALL is ok (keeping Sampler-Settings)...

BUT: IF go to sampling SAMPLING and SLICE and APPLY....

The PAD/Track/Sampler goes to NI_Defaults... not to my "Sampler-Defaults"... and i have always to do a lot of knob/mouse/work... to get my "defaults"... This is really NASTY!


BTW: MY standard for such stunts is MODE= "SPLIT and SLICES = 16 pieces"...

I want THIS as DEFAULT for sampling/chopping and of course go back to my other Defaults after APPLY!

How to "prefence" /do so????
