Some outputs linking to wrong tracks in Cakewalk

I am using Kontakt with Cakewalk. I successfully set up 16 tracks with midi inputs and outputs. Instruments 1-6 work fine, outputting to their respective tracks in Cakewalk, but when I set the 7th Kontakt instrument to output number 7, no sound. Same if I set the output to track 8. However, if I set the output for instrument 7 to any track 9-16, it outputs to the tracks 2 below where it should (output set to 9 will show up on track 7, output 10 to track 8…). I think I may have deleted an instrument and it messed up the links. How to fix?

    Look in the output section of Kontakt and check the routing again.

    Using the + & - buttons you can add/delete output channels and redo the routing.
