Brand new user of Kontakt 8 (apart from "dabbling") and I want to use it for live on stage keys rigs. I need to create splits (bass/keys) layers and control it with a Studiologic SL88 MK 2.
Is it possible to do that? I do have hosting software (for the VST version) but on a Ryzen 5 they are just going to add excessive CPU overhead, I think. I am hoping standalone might be more efficient :)
System is 32gig RAM and a 1TB NVME drive.
Are there any tutorials I can be directed to re this? I have looked on YT but cannot get anything really specific, or find anyone actually doing this.
