My name is MauMouse and I'm working on my fifth piano piece, titled Samba Sade. This piece's genre is modern neoclassical with jazz undertones.
For the piano, I used Claire.
For the rhythmic arrangement, I used Session Percussionist, seeking a groove that blends with the piano without overpowering it. Additionally, I added textural elements using Kinetic Toys.
Listening through headphones (DT 880 Pro), the main groove seems to work, but I have two specific questions I'd like your expert opinion on:
Does the rhythmic groove chosen by Session Percussionist fit well and blend with the piano dynamics, or does it risk sounding disjointed?
Does the addition of Kinetic Toys enrich the track, giving it a cinematic feel, or does it feel out of place/distract too much from the main melody?
