Kontakt 8 hanging Studio Pro, Reaper and FL Studio

Question

When exiting Studio Pro 8/Reaper 7.81/FL Studio 26.1.7, after having Kontakt 8 in a project, a DAW process remains in Background processes until manually killed.

For any future readers, Kontakt 8.14.0 solved the problem.  Massive X is still problematic as of yesterday

UPDATE:  K8 standalone doesn't exit cleanly either
