Sorry, false alarm. You may delete this thread. I had failed to register those libraries with Native Access. Once I did this all is well.
I lately get this in Studio One Pro 8 on Win11 with the Embertone and Spitfire libraries I've tried. It also happens in Kontakt 8 stand-alone. I'll try more libraries. My symptom is the library's default startup screen has an ivory background and filled with white boxes and grey boxes. Presumably those are supposed to be text boxes. When I exit Kontakt and close Studio One, upon starting the project again, Kontakt didn't remember what I had loaded into it.
@Fretman We made a new thread out of your comment as the issue was not related (Logic issue and white, totally empty screen of Kontakt)
What happens when you try to load the library in Kontakt in standalone? Please try the follwoing: https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000879711-my-kontakt-library-loads-with-broken-graphics
No worries, would it be ok to leave the thread alive, in case someone ends up in the same situation?
Sure! Hope it helps someone else.
For others reading this: sometimes resetting your audio drivers fixes this issue too.
Yep, and it's all in the shared KB article: https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000879711-my-kontakt-library-loads-with-broken-graphics?_gl=13qyc28_gcl_auMTI0MDQzNDc0NS4xNzkwMTUwMjg3LjE0MDYzMzY0OTUuMTc5MDE1MDI5My4xNzkwMTUwMjkzLjY3Mjk5ODAyMC4xNzkwMTUwMjkzLjE3OTAxNTAyOTM._gaMTQyODAzMDUxMS4xNzkwMTUwMjg3_ga_S4HX7NRXLW*czE3OTAxODA3NzYkbzUkZzEkdDE3OTAxODEzMTYkajYwJGwwJGg5ODY2MzA3MDI.
