Hi I'm experiencing sample dropouts with Kontakt 6.8.0 on Windows 11 in Reaper 7.46 while rendering
The issue is happening randomly but regularly with sample libraries that are running on internal SSDs that have more than 20-40% free space. For example, Pacific Strings cello legato will randomly dropout during the sustain with a click sound while rendering even just that track by itself in an empty project. When I play the project in reaper, the disk usage for that Kontakt instance will be jumping randomly from 0 to 80% but there's no dropouts, even if it's just that 1 kontakt track in it's own project from a clean bootup. But I can also play full projects with all orchestral midi instruments without any dropouts.
My DFD is currently at 30kb globally. When I set it to 72kb, there's still render dropouts. When I set it to 90kb, there's mostly no render dropouts.
Now when I use Kontakt 6.7.1, or 6.6.1 and set the DFD to only 12-18kb, there's consistently no render dropouts
My PC has a Ryzen 9950x and 64GB ram 4800mhz
Anyone have any ideas why one version of Kontakt is so buggy? Would reinstalling through Native access potentially cause any project issues?
