I am having a problem with the hand position feature in Scarbee Ric Bass. I have read the documentation and watched the official video, and am still not sure how to use this feature.
I have a pattern where all notes in the pattern exist within the fourth position. When I playback the pattern in Ideas, all notes are played back in the fourth position. But if I add the pattern to a song, it plays most of the notes in fourth position, but also plays a few of them in fifth position. I think that is normal behavior according to the manual, although not always desirable.
Unless I am misunderstanding the documentation, I should be able to lock in the hand position. So if I create pattern that is playable entirely in one hand position, and I set the key switching to that position, it should stay in that position for the pattern.
Is this feature something that only be used while playing in realtime or is it something I can apply to a pattern or song to force to a specific hand position?
