@skramsino This bug was filed under the reference KT-11843. Would you have more related crashlogs to share here? The Kontakt devs asking to be sure to collect all usecases. The one you shared seemd to happen while dragging and dropping.

well, it has happened since I got my Wacom Intous pro back in 2020. I am now completely avoiding using the pen when using Kontakt. I have a normal mouse available whenever I need to interact (which is very often;). The crash can happen by just hovering the pen over the Kontakt GUI. Usually though, it is triggered by double clicking a preset/patch in the browser, or interacting otherwise.
Attached is a video showing the issue. In this case the crash occurred on the Max Richter Library. I tested that particular library right after, in a new project, and it was not repeatable with the same library. There is no pattern to any specific libraries, or indeed, what I do inside the GUI to trigger the crash… Thanks,

Thanks, forwarded everything to the Kontakt team, it's now in their hands. No ETA for a fix though, it hasn't been prioritized yet and you're the only on reporting it, just to manage your expectations. Thanks for your understanding.

@skramsino The devs were not able to reproduce the issue, Does the crash only happen with the library showed in the video? Does it happen with other libraries? Preferably NI ones so it is easy for us to reproduce.
as I very rarely use the NI libraries, and cannot confirm that they also trigger the crash. But, there is no pattern to any particular library. Spitfire, Slate+Ash, Project Sam, are the ones I use the most and all of them has triggered the crach in the past. Apart from inside Cubase, it has also happened from inside Vienna Ensemble Pro and Pro Tools.
Ok but does it happen always with the same library? Do you have other examples of libraries, even 3rd party so we can try to find a license and try a repro.
No, is it not directly repeatable with the same library. The last one that caused it was the SRM Sounds #001 Max Richter Piano. I submitted a crash log for that one, I attach it again here:
It's more about having the same library to be able to reproduce the issue on our end. You mentioned Spitfire, Slate+Ash, Project Sam libraries where this happened too, can you be more specific and tell us which products exactly were used when the crashes happened. Thank you.
Jeremy, I am almost certain that the issue isn´t related to specific libraries, as I have mentioned. It appears to be something in the Kontakt GUI that triggers it.
Just had another crash, attached log here along with a report run by Claude (Probably unneccessary as you most certainly have even better tools + brains for this;)
Another point worth mentioning; I always use the "classic view".
