How to create proper squeals / pinch harmonics with Electric Storm Deluxe?

So this is something that is bugging for quite some time now, with the melody instrument, whatever I try, I can't get these screamy/gritty harmonics, and with as nice transitions as what's provided in the patterns, say for example Mayhem A, Chugzilla A, or Djenparty A. Switching to Flangeolet a little bit before the next note hits does a lot, but still I'm unable to recreate these examples, it always sound goofy as hell.

Unfortunately the instruments MIDI export doesn't help with it, since it only includes pitch data, no switches, no velocity, no modulation of any kind (I know that data is stored in the relevant .nka files, but really I cannot be asked to try to "reverse engineer" that), and the documentation also doesn't cover it, in fact, it barely touches any any "real world" "how to" at all :(

But I don't want to rant about it too much, rather I'd like to kindly ask if anyone of you knows how to properly achieve these harmonics and the transitions into them, and make them as screamy/gritty as they are in the mentioned examples?

It's a fair question.

You have correctly (as far as I can tell, Im on UCE 14) figured that this is not really possible. Its an issue that has been touched on from time to time here, and there are work arounds to a degree, such as using key switches but its not the same, unfortunately. You cant actually control exact amounts of effects you want, and are at best given a generic one size fits all (kinda) approach.

The guitars are really great sounding but this in my view degrades them somewhat and is a real shame that more hasn't been done to upgrade to this possibilty.

I guess this is what you expect when you're dealing with "hard coded" samples.
