Hello,
I accidentally broke the USB-C connector of the cable that was supplied with the MK3. Where can I order the exact same cable? I haven't been able to find it.
Thank you for your help.
I think they're custom cables so I'd suggest getting in touch with NI support and see if they can provide one. You can do that from here - https://support.native-instruments.com/support/home
@Jeremy_NI might also know if they're available.
There is also this little guide: https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000879660-kontrol-s-series-mk3-avoiding-connection-issues-by-using-the-right-usb-c-hubs-and-cables
There is a support article about choosing the right USB(-C)-Cables:
https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000879900-choosing-the-correct-usb-cable-for-your-ni-hardware-device
No special Native Instruments cable should be needed.
yep any decent usbc cable will work. I usually just grab the nearest. If you want the exact same cable with the strain relief you’ll need to hit up support.
My guess is that if you look for a cable like : USB-C to USB-C cable certified USB 3.1 gen 2 then it would work. Also then a passive Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable most likely is OK if not great too
