Whenever I use Circular my CPU goes to 100% usage and all I can hear is crackling. All I am doing is holding a 4 note chord down. Some presets are worst than others. Other than lowering my device buffer size - any ideas?
@Drude Is this only happening with this library? Is it installed on the same location as your other libraries? On an external hard drive? What format is that drive?
my CPU
What is your CPU? What's the spec of your computer?
my device buffer size
What is your device, and what is the buffer size?
In addition to Circular, what other software are you running at the same time?
Hey @Drude Any feedback?
Hi The issues only occur with Circular. It's installed on the same drive as all my other NI libraries (An internal SSD NTFS) My computer is an ASUS running running 11Gen Intel i5 @ 2.7Ghz with an NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU and 64GB RAM
@Drude Thanks for the info, from the specs your computer should be able to handle performance. Maybe you can try the following: https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000879745-how-can-i-optimize-the-performance-of-kontakt-
And in some cases, batch re-save has helped for more demanding libraries: https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000879759-kontakt-batch-re-saving-a-library
