Can you please explain the new integration

ADDED NKS Connect support in Komplete Kontrol, starting with AKAI MPK mini IV as the first compatible partner controller

It's just 3rd party controller support to do what is mentioned in the overview. Basically NI once said they would never offer 3rd party hardware support for other keyboards and controllers but they opened up "MIDI" support to allow any MIDI keyboard to at least step through presets and operate the macro controls.

Now because InMusic have a billion companies under them and many hardware devices my guess is they will start to "gut" KK and NKS and develop it more to fit in with the whole MPC/MPK eco system and slowly merge it in as an Akai feature more than an NI feature.

Give it a year or so and "Komplete kontrol" will just be another MPK
