DOA

Question

New S88 ——> D3-B4 all defective - hang, lag, group-press , black keys clack more as  approaching defective center = S88 totally unusable defective and DOA.

bought S61 worked great but had factory scratch along top of key bed > returned > got s88 > DOA > love the action > love the concept but now torn over if just not ready for prime time. I mean, if keys are DOA and I get one that has working keys…what else will go wrong kind of a feeling

All I can say is that with the amount of devices sold, there will always be a few bad ones, whether a TV, a PS5 or S88, likewise those with problems will post on forums like this, those who are having fun playing don't, hence it can look like there are more faulty ones than there really are

I too was unlucky with my first S88, a couple of weeks out of warranty. one key went wrong.

Even though it was out of warranty, NI bent over backwards to sort it out and sent me a brand new one.

I'm very very very happy with mine, had the replacement for about 16 months, play it every day
