Wher´s my pedal steel?

I had a issue with my pedal steel plugin. In Logic Pro it didn´t sound at all, from one day to another. And it seemed to be a problem with the kontakt8 so I tried to update and reinstall the plugin, but it didn´t work. And now the pedal steel is missing, it just disappeared. It says that it´s installed in the Native Sound-app, but in Kontakt8 it´s not there.

What could I do?

Hey there, what product is Pedal Steel exactly and from what manufacturer?

Have you tried to open Kontakt 8 in standalone? Is the library also missing?

Do Logic and Kontakt both have full disk access?

Please try to rest Kontakt 8's database:

Reinitialize the Kontakt Database

1. Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.

1. Navigate to Application Support > Native Instruments.
2. Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder:
   Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
   Kontakt 6: "Kontakt"
   Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
   Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8"
3. Start Kontakt as a standalone application
