GR7 works as standalone / GR7 does not work in Logic Pro — what to do?

Aloha from O'ahu,

GR7 works beautifully as a standalone on my Mac Pro 2019 (with new hard drive in 2024) running macOS Tahoe 26.5.1. Flawless.

In Logic Pro, despite endless Googling and experimenting, I cannot get any signal through GR7.

In my LP audio track I get signal from my guitar and I can hear my direct-input signal through my headphones.

But try as I might, I cannot get any of the signal to go through GR7.

Again, I've done everything "Google" has thrown up — check the mute/clipping, input monitoring and record on, giving GR7 full disc access, etc., etc. — but no joy.

Again 2.0, GR7 works perfectly as a standalone.

Any thoughts?

PS — Latest "test": I am able to record my DI guitar, than add GR7 after I've got the audio. I just can't record using GR7.

Will research that, although to date I've not used or seen the 2 track idea before.

Hello,

im not a logic user myself but if I remember correctly you have to use two tracks and a bus to send audio from the input track to the FX track and you ten listen and record through the FX track, it's an audio track too of course.
