NI Session Percussionist Won't play 1/2 time or 2x

I have at least a dozen Kontakt Drum Machines. In all of them, if you select 1/2 time or 2x it plays back at those speeds and when you record it it's recorded at those speeds. With Session Percussionist, it doesn't work. If I press the little play button in the plugin it plays at the changed tempo, but there is no way to get it to play at the revised tempo in Reaper. If I play C0 or C1 or C2 on the piano roll or a keyboard or manually draw in a midi note it still plays at the original tempo. I've spent hours on this and I'm officially throwing in the towel hoping for a miracle. It's bad enough that i can't drag and drop midi into my DAW but this tempo thing is ridiculous. Hello,

as far as I know this instrument has no global half/double time function, you have to set it for every pattern. A quick global way could be to set kontakt to internal clock in classic view, and then set the tempo within kontakt to half of your projects tempo. And this instrument is to complex for simple midi note triggers to work like the internal sequencer and have all the advanced play styles/timings and whatnot but you have single note triggers for every instrument you can use.
