Kontrol A49 won't control KK in Cubase

Hi, hopefully someone can help me.

I use Komplete Kontrol SW with Cubase 15. It all works fine.

I occasionally use KK in standalone mode and can control the UI from my A49 - selecting categories, patches etc as you would expect.

However, when I try and control KK from my A49 in Cubase, it doesn't work at all?

The browser light doesn't illuminate, and the wheel does nothing?

I can play notes, start stop etc, but the KK features of browsing sounds just dont work. I have been through the troubleshooting articles - updated firmware, uninstalled/reinstalled, reset the database in KK, ensured the A49 is setup correctly in Cubase (using the A49 MIDI DAW I/O as instructed) - everything I can find in the support articles I have done.

Clearly the A49 and KK can communicate as it works fine in standalone mode, so it feels like its something Cubase is doing, and/or a combination of KK SW and Cubase, but its driving me nuts.

Can anyone help me please?

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon and your DAW must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

If using Sequoia/Tahoe then if prompted to do so then N.I. apps and DAW must be added to the Local Network (Ref.: Howto grant audio apps access to your local network on macOS 15 Sequoia).
