How to Automatically Load Kontakt Multis in DAW Without Full State Restore?

Hey everyone,
I’m struggling with auto loading Kontakt multis inside a DAW project on startup. When I open a session, it restores a huge state blob, causing long waits of multiple minutes. The alternative I am using is through UI automation, which is opening the open dialog and runs through the process almost as if I was clicking manuall. This works fast (seconds) but this process is sensitive to mouse interactions causing focus loss and also dosn't look nice with the windows popping up.

Is there a proper way to load a multi directly instead of relying on full state restore? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

If you are asking about loading a Kontakt with multiple instruments loaded within then this will take a moment to load depending on the instruments loaded within as there can be many GB of sample data to load into memory and limitations on CPU thread for a single instrument and HDD speed will impact that.

The reason it may appear faster when loading an empty plugin then loading the instruments is the sample data will buffer and load in the background whereas a DAW project it all loads with the project.

Unless you really need it in a single instance of Kontakt it can be faster and more efficient for your project to just have separate tracks and separate Kontakt instances and of course keeping things to a minimum and not loading content you don't need. Using a fast SSD over HDD can also help but there will always be a delay in loading.
