When you already have a product loaded - perhaps from an old template in your DAW, (mine is Cubase 15), how do you then find the location of the disk folder for the NKI?
For Quick load puposes
Can't seem to find an easy way.

You can find where a sample is by hovering over the name in the Mapping or Wave module.
For the nki itself you probably have to do a Windows search. If you built the nki yourself but didn't save it, it may not exist outside your project file. (click on "save" and in that event you'll be told it can't be saved.)
If you just want to use the nki in another project, simplest just to make a copy of it.

For instrument libraries installed by Native Access, you can use NA itself to show you the locations that NA is referencing, which will likely be the same locations that Kontakt goes to.
If you're like me and you like to have your libraries spread out across different drive partitions or locations, you will probably want to review NA's settings before you start installing new products. If you don't, then you end up with a crazy setup like I had a few weeks ago. Sonuscore instruments in my 8dio folder, Heavyocity instruments in my Native Instruments folder, and so forth.
Now bear in mind that neither NA nor Kontakt really give a care specifically "where" your libraries are, and they'll play the sounds as long as the paths actually point to the sounds. But for somebody like me, I'm just trying to keep "some" organization across the libraries, to help control how long backups take, and to have a good understanding of available freespace.
But I need to remember to review the pathing in NA anytime I'm doing new installs or re-installs, otherwise, I end up with a big hairball of a mess, lol! 😯
