I don't know why the original discussion got closed - very annoying
Anyway managed to get this working in Reason 14
Bit of a faff though as it doesn't seem to retain the mixer lock so you have to open up the mixer and lock the device to it each time but maybe I can make it a template? (EDIT yes it saves with the template so just make it default)
I did not close it but it could possibly have to do with the fact that it says 'Announced' . But I don't know , for a moment then I wee tempted to merge your new threads with the old one but I think that I will leave the to Jeremy_NI to decide.
MIDI 2 seems to work in Reason 14 as well
Is it worth getting Kontrol S-Series MK3 if Reason is my DAW?
I would say not specifically for Reason. Bear in mind Reason 14 unfortunately still does not support poly aftertouch, and also the integration we can get in Reason is not the highest level (post firmware 2) where you can control all devices without needing Komplete Kontrol, what you get is the mixer showing and controllable in the keyboard screen as well as transport functions. There are probably better controllers designed more specifically for Reason - eg the ones by Nektar (but since I already have one it's nice to have at least some integration)
What are we missing in Reason other then the poly aftertouch when using Kontrol S-Series MK3?
