Problem with Kontakt not recognising copied notes

Hello, I've recently been having a problem that's never happened to me before despite 100s of uses of Kontakt ( one must question why things like this happen).

I'm currently using the getgood agressive drum kit in Kontakt in Logic Pro X

and I have this drum midi that I want to copy in my Kontakt channel however the midi notes aren't making any sound.

nothing is muted and the notes are on instrument assigned notes in the piano roll, yet there's no sound.

when I try recording with my keyboard the notes come out and make sound but not when I either copy the notes from elsewhere or try to place them myself in the piano roll.

Any idea how to solve this please?

Do you know if the drum MIDI you want to copy was written with a specific MIDI channel? You should be able to check this in Logic. You can also set the Kontakt instance where you laod the library to OMNI, where it will be activated by notes on any MIDI channel.
