Hi everybody.
I tried to rename my user presets but it failed – though the name in the user preset folder on my Mac appears renamed, the preset in Massive X's browser is shown with its former name.
I remember vaguely that this has discussed some years ago before but I could not find it.
So, any advice is much appreciated.

To follow up my steps:
- I re-installed Massive X in order to get a fully refreshed user preset structure.
- I deleted everything necessary on my Mac before using this procedure: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210291865-How-to-Uninstall-Native-Instruments-Software-from-a-Mac-Computer.
- Restarted my Mac.
- I opened my DAW (Bitwig 6), loaded a new instance of Massive X.
- The user preset folder in the Browser was empty now.
- I quit the DAW.
- I copied an older user preset from a storage device into the MX's user preset folder (Documents/NativeInstruments/User Content/Massive X/Presets).
- I renamed it there after pasting it.
- Re-opened the DAW, loaded an instance of Massive X, opened the user area
- the new loaded preset appeared - but with the former name!
- From within Massive X, I opened the folder with the user presets. The single preset was shown – with the new given name.
- again, I renamed it (to check if the renaming just works from within Massive X.)
- The preset's name changed in the user presets folder.
- I rescanned the content.
- The name of the preset did not change in Massive X's browser.
- Even after closing the DAW, restarting the Mac, reopening the DAW and Massive X … the preset sticks to the oldest name in Massive X's browser.
