Massive's Browser doesn't seem to show all Expansions anymore?

Quite recently, I've observed that my Massive browser is missing a few Expansions:

For example, Anima Ascent, Backyard Jams, Concrete Sun, Crate Cuts all come loaded with presets for Massive - yet they don't show up.

I've tried rebuilding the database, removing the Massive folder from AppData/Local/Native Instruments, reinstalling said Expansions… to no avail.

Is it just me or happening to others as well?

Edit: Another user suggested that it could be related to the "XXX Library" situation, but Expansions like Jersey Ride or Midnight Flow do show up.

Hey everyone, this should be fixed now. Simply open Native Access again and do a database rebuild in Massive via the options menu.

Just checked here with the desktop version on my Win11 PC and I see all the ones you mentioned plus more - about five times the amount that fits in the window (so around 100).

@Monochrome I can't repro but I'm on Mac. I'm not sure why it could be different on Windows. Did you update some of the expansions lately?

I do not know what the problem is but I might have the same problem on my Windows 11 PC , only I deleted (moved) a Massive DB file and then had it re-scan and it probably only found like % 25 or less of what it should find. I ended up moving the old DB file back since that at least had maybe sixty some (?) items..

I let the old DB overwrite the new when moving back , but I can try again and see if I get same result and share findings with your per PM as soon as I got it. (Massive takes some time to scan so I will have to leave it alone for a lot of time to make sure that it has finished)(until the little circular thing in top right stops spinning)

I just uploaded both an old and a newly generated DB to Jeremy_NI. In my old DB (which is probably not complete either) then Massive lists 66 items in left side of the browser. But if I either delete/move the DB file and let massive regenerate the DB or click to re-scan DB in Massive settings then it only lists 15 items in the left side of the Massive preset browser.

DB file (NIMassiveDatabase2_ul) located in Windows 11 at location C:\Users[MY USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Massive\

Prior to the fix then my Massive lists had 66 items in left side of the browser. And after a rebuild of the DB then only 15 items .

But with the fix then after a DB rebuild (initiated via Massive 'Options') then the Massive browser now lists approximately 89 items in left side of the browser 😀

There is no new Massive update there as of 9th April.

Jeremy_NI is on holiday until April 20th so he can not answer you any time soon.

Anyway , then the reason for opening (latest version of) Native Access (for your OS) first is because that N.A. propagates information to other NI apps about what is installed.

Then having done that then open Massive standalone and do a DB rebuild (initiated via Massive 'Options').
