String ensemble switches notes off after releasing sustain pedal

Question

String ensemble cut off notes (which are still being held on the keyboard) after releasing the sustain pedal.

This happens only when the MIDI transpose (Instrument Options) is set to a value other than 0.

Besides this, sometimes one note of chord seems to mis the sustain off whereas the other notes did seem to have received the sustain off. This is independent of value of the MIDI transpose.

I need to be able to play live with this which is impossible with this behaviour.

Is this a bug or can I do something to resolve this ? The pedal is working fine on other stuff (as it seems, did not try the entire library of course).

There have been longstanding issues with Kontakt's MIDI Transpose which may not work properly in the presence of some scripts. Maybe it can do the opposite - itself interfere with the functioning of a script.

Suggest using another method of transposing - some commercial instruments will do it for you, or your host programme, or a Kontakt script/multiscript.

@Hijlko Soepboer In what context is this happening? Which DAW? What model/brand of keyboard? Which presets specifically?

Could you make a small video of the issue and/or a small project where you can reproduce the issue? This way we can try a repro.
