Does the Kontrol S61 n MK3 send midi CC data out of the 5 pin midi data port?

Hi,

Does the Kontrol S61n MK3 send out midi CC's thru it 5 pin midi port? I am trying to use that port to control plugins on the MPC X.

I have Midi Dual selected on the settings page. I have tried it also with Ableton and Logic (just using the Hardware midi, not the USB) and it doesn't appear it sends any data other than mod and pitch, no data from the midi template page.

@instanthouse Yes MIDI CCs are transmitted to the 5 pin MIDI out. Make sure that you choose the same MIDI channels for the CCs both on the Kontrl MK3 and the MPC.

How did you check that there was no MIDI coming in Ableton or Logic. You woumd need to connect the MIDI out of the MK3 to a MIDI interface and choose this MIDI interface as an input for Ableton or Logic. You can monitor what is being transmitted: How to Monitor the Output of a MIDI Controller

FYI the MIDI 5 Pin out of the Kontrol MK3 is Komplete Kontrol is named Kontrol S49mk3 (Ext)
