Key Switch Light On Keyboard

In Kontakt/Komplete Kontrol etc. when there is a plugin that uses key switching, it doesn't light up the current keyswitch on the keyboard. It still only does octaves, even though it has no use for octaves, but won't show which keyswitch you're currently on.

In this example, Action Strings 2, I'm currently latched onto that keyswitch.

Also, the octave root glowing as an accent won't dim when playing on them. I've noted this before, and it's still obvious that when a glowing key is pressed it should be dim while held, just as the dim keys glow when held.

@Jeremy_NI Can this be passed to the web team? Not sure why there's an option here for a post type of "Idea" but I don't see it when I try to create a post.

Regarding the actual problem, I'd not noticed that but it does seem logical that the selected key switch would be brighter rather than just the octave key. Does it happen with all keyswitch based instruments? Are you on a MK2 or MK3 keyboard? I'm guessing 3 as you mention using it in Kontakt

Hey there, strange issue with the "Idea' kind of post, this was only used for specific sections of the forum and should not be available in most sections. I can't reproduce the issue. @SuperTRev Is this still happening or was it for just this post? You should only see Discussion or Question in the choices. Could you give us a few more details?

And @SuperTRev regarding the issue with the guiding lights and keyswitches. I couldn't reproduce the issue in Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol in standalone? Is it happening in a DAW for you? Which daW? If it's also happening inn standalone, do Kontatk, Komplete Kontrol and your DAW are running as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

Are you telling me the keyswitches are supposed to be latched "on" the light guide? That my suggestion is already implemented, but it's just not working for me specifically?
I noticed it happening in Kontakt 8 standalone. I checked and it was also happening in Komplete Kontrol standalone, S61 Mk3 keyboard.

Why would I have to run music software as admin?

Jeremy, also on Action Strings 2 I have to move the octave down the keyboard for the red keyswitches to be available. You see the empty space in the GUI, between the blue and the red? It would be nice for the playable zone to be moved to butt up to the red zone, so we can just play the presets on load.

By the "Idea" category I think I meant that I didn't put in the correct "category" ; I think the "Post Type" didn't matter for this problem (I think, I dunno).

Ya, for the "Actions" catalogue: Strings, Strikes, Woodwinds. All of those, the lightguide doesn't latch with keyswitches. "Electric Keys Diamond" has some deeper blue keys, but I can't figure out why (I haven't read the manual). "George Duke's Soul Treasures" doesn't latch with its red and green modifier key switches. I'm not sure if it's supposed to. Holding down the keys it does light up the keybed but it doesn't latch the effect anyway.

Scarbee Funk Guitarist, the Yellow loops don't latch, even when they are playing continuously. I can't get sound out of the blue keys. Scarbee Pre-Bass, the red keyswitches don't latch (by don't latch I just mean the light guide). Blue keys work fine.

Stradivari Cello I pushed on the one red key and it killed all the keys and the lightguide. No idea what's up with that.

I can keep looking but I'm getting the pattern that the keyswitches don't latch the lightguide anywhere.
