Crash when saving an instrument indside VE Pro - could be a number disorder?

1. Kontakt is in an instance of VE Pro.

2. Within that instance I've loaded 6 Kontakt instruments — so a total of 6.

3. I then deleted that last intrument (in this case "CH - Modern Cello KS Up") and reloaded the same instrument again.

4. When I go to save that last instrument (Modern Cello KS Up) Kontakt crashes.

5. The attached pic shows exactly what I'm talking about. For some reason the "save as" menu shows "CH - Modern Cello KS Up" as Instrument #7. I believe it's only #7 because I deleted it and then reloaded a fresh copy. When the instrument appears as #6 (before I deleting and re-loadeding) and I save the intrument, Kontakt saves it without a problem

I'm not sure if this is a Kontakt problem or VE Pro problem, or that both are the culprits.

I have seen this too with even less instruments and not in VEP, but just as an instrument in the daw. After removing and then adding instruments, save as does not work reliably.

@Matt Godbey Did you notice this before or only with a recent Kontakt update?

@Matt Godbey Got some feedback from the team. This is reproducible, even outside of VEPro. A bug was filed under the reference KT-11495. However Kontakt 7 is now discontinued so this might never get fixed.

It would seem the issue is not present on Kontakt 8. You could already check it out with Kontakt 8 Player, the free version.
