Unable to Map Foot Pedal to Next/Previous (Preset) Buttons In GR7

If I load GR7 standalone and use 'learn midi' it maps the next/previous function without issue.

If I load GR7 into Ableton 12 I click the learn midi function in GR7 with no impact when mapping. If I use the Midi Program function in Ableton, it will not recognize the next/previous as mappable.

Thoughts?

When using GR as vst plugin, the midi ins/outs of your midi-interface are managed by the host (daw). In Ableton you need to send your midi signal from your midi-controller through a midi track to GR. Then you can midi map and control GR. For Program Change you need to activate the pgm number in the midi clip on a second track.

This is with Live 11 and GR6, but it should work with your system as well.
