I'm own an S88 since a while and recently bought an S61 for another setup.
I use one of these in a hybrid setup, as well to be used on the pc with Komplete etc., as in a hardware oriented setup with an external sequencer or drum module. It would be very useful to be able to play a hardware synth from the S61/88 using the arpeggiator (on the S, the synths doesn't have one) while receiving midi clock from the hardware sequencer by DIN midi, which is currently not possible. In this setup the PC is only used in a passive way for passing through audio by the audio interface and midi by the MioXL interface, but no audio or midi software is running.
In a youtube video from NI from 9 months ago, it was said this was something which was being worked on. I just noticed there was a recent discussion on this forum asking for exactly the same thing. The topic is closed and it was mentioned this feature is not on the roadmap, due to low request I presume. But my request is actually pretty much the same, and I assume others will also benefit from this feature if made available.
