How can I get Kontakt 8 plugin to fully play what I have selected in Playbox?

I’ve noticed something odd in Kontakt 8. When I load Kontakt as a plugin, it doesn't play the full sound of a sample I’ve loaded. I’ve tested this in Ableton and Machine 2, and the same thing happens. I’m confused because in standalone mode, the sound plays, but it doesn’t play when loaded in another software. It plays the sound itself, but not the entire sample, specifically the lo-fi part in Playbox. All my settings in Kontakt 8 are the same, so I’m not sure what settings I need to set to have Kontakt 8 play as intended.

Hello,

correct, the fx work but the vinyl sample 02 under ambience is missing if you load it as plugin. None of those samples work if loaded as plugin, you can check with clicking on the speaker button under the "ambience" activation button.

I believe I managed to get it playing. If I load it up as a plugin but in classic view, and change the output settings away from "… (plugin)" then it becomes audible.

@dwrvchase Have you set up any multiple outputs in Kontakt standalone or as a plugin?

You can reset all that to default by navigating to the outputs section, in Classic view:

First select Reset output section for standalone, then choose Save Current output section state as default for All Formats.
