FC-7 Not Working on S-88 Mkii

I own an S88 Mkii. I purchased a Yamaha FC-7 volume pedal, plugged it into Port B, and followed the configuration instructions in Komplete Kontrol. Nothing happens when I move the pedal; it remains at full loudness regardless of position as though it wasn't there at all. Can anyone help me, please?

Hello,

please check that the 6.3 mm plug is all the way in. How do you check it, with a midi monitor in your DAW and what are the exact settings you have made. Have you tried to calibrate it. I guess you followed that article:

As @Uwe303 said. Make sure to also calibrate the pedal, as mentioned in the linked article: Pedal Calibration

When your pedal socket is in Continuous mode, you can calibrate the connected pedal.

Press Button 8 (Calibrate) to start the calibration process of the connected pedal.
Move the pedal all the way to the heel down - toes up position, then press Button 8 (OK) to proceed.
Move the pedal all the way to the heel up - toes down position, then press Button 8 (OK) to proceed.
Press Button 8 (OK) to confirm and quit the calibration process.

As @Uwe303 said. Make sure to also calibrate the pedal, as mentioned in the linked article: Pedal Calibration

Thanks, guys. I followed the instructions carefully, made sure the jack was plugged in, and calibrated. The pedal still has no effect. Very frustrated.

Have you tried to swap T/R and calibrate again?

Thanks for your input, guys. Unfortunately, after carefully following the article instructions and double checking everything, the pedal still acts as though it doesn't exist. Furthermore, I've discovered an apparent glitch in KK's Pedals window. If I select Pedal B and set it as continuous, it simultaneously changes Pedal A to continuous, even though it's not even active on the screen. That wreaks havoc on my sustain pedal. If I go back to A and change it back to Switch, Pedal B get changed to Switch. Aren't these supposed to be independent of each other?

Swapping T/R and recalibrating had no effect. I also tried inverting and recalibrating.

They should work independently, now I get slowly the feeling that your device may be faulty. Do you maybe have another computer to test it, if it would behave the same I would guess it's a hardware issue, if not then it's most likely some software issue in my opinion.

@Martin Werr Both inputs should be independent. Can you try to set up the expression pedal in port A, without any pedal in port B, do you get the same behaviour? Can you also put the MIDI assignments to default by creating a new template:
