Custom Installation of Absynth 6

I have the HDD in my Dell PC partitioned into C: for the OS, D: for Apps, E: for Data. I want to install Absynth 6 on D: so I can protect my C: with virtualization app Shadow Defender. Absynth 6 does install on D: but the Absynth 6 Content folder insists on installing in C:\ProgramData. Is there a way to edit the install.cmd utility to allow the Content folder to be installed on D:?

Please note - the L drive (in my screencap) has nothing to do with this scenario and does not apply to Absynth anyway.

My Absynth 6 software ALL sits on C:\ The content, the executables - everything.

You could always try downloading the actual v6.02 installer from here:

https://www.native-instruments.com/en/account/downloads/

You might be able to point the install in a different direction that way.

Strong recommendation to install ALL software and plugins in C. This is by design.

#2 below is really non-negotiable:

Trying to "divert" anything for any reason - will simply be a recipe for issues later.

And yet, in the .png (Point 3) in your answer you show that Content Location is in drive "L:\Libraries\Native Instruments".

Again, I was hoping for help in editing the install.cmd so I could install Absynth 6 Content as arbitrarily as you've shown in the .png - "L:\Libraries\Native Instruments". Also, your assertion that "#2 below is really non-negotiable:" is simply incorrect - as I stated in my original post, Absynth 6 executable does install in D: drive, and my reason for doing so is also clearly stated: I need to keep my C: drive in virtualization protection.

Lastly, the by design philosophy (everything in C:) at Native Instruments appears to be the result of the designers having never heard of anyone repartitioning their hard drives for a bunch of perfectly good reasons.
