I added my own presets folders made with Absynth 5 into the new "Sounds" folder and rescanned but the preset folders don't get added.
No that’s not the case - as long as they are in .nabs or .nksf format whole folders can be added at once. There is no import process as it should just read these natively. I have managed to add pretty much all of my old Absynth 5 banks now, although some took more work than others.
However evidently the current release still has some bugs to iron out with preset banks and not everyone is managing this. The freezing has gone but what shows and what doesn’t seems to be inconsistent, not entirely sure why. Also compatibility with Komplete Kontrol is weird, new patches saved in Absynth 6 often don't show in Komplete Kontrol (although they can - again it's just hit and miss) and when you resave an Absynth 6 patch in Komplete Kontrol, that enables it to show in KK but then it won't show a bank name in Absynth 6 - it's all a bit frustrating. But hopefully this will get fixed soon. The devs are aware.
